EV TrustSeal Terms of Service
Effective version: 2026-09-15
1. The service
EV TrustSeal Pty Ltd provides telemetry-based electric-vehicle battery health and optional manufacturer-reported vehicle-condition reports. The service is not a mechanical inspection, roadworthy certificate, warranty decision, or guarantee of current or future vehicle performance.
2. Reports and public publication
You must be authorised to connect the vehicle and provide accurate information. Publishing creates a public verification page and may create a downloadable PDF intended to be shared with prospective buyers. Reports preserve the data captured at the time of the audit and are not continuously updated.
3. Permanent tier entitlement
A completed one-time purchase grants the purchasing account ongoing access to the purchased report tier for future eligible reports. A Tier 2 upgrade grants the higher tier. Access may be suspended during a payment dispute and may be reconciled after a refund, chargeback, fraud event, breach, or account deletion. Already issued reports and their verification history are retained unless law requires otherwise.
4. Prices, tax, and payment
Prices and available currencies are displayed before payment. Applicable taxes may be calculated by Stripe. You authorise immediate delivery when you complete Checkout. Stripe processes payment information under its own terms and privacy policy.
5. Vehicle data and limitations
Vehicle data depends on manufacturer availability, permissions, model, year, region, connectivity, and signal quality. Missing or unsupported diagnostics are shown as unavailable and are never represented as healthy. You remain responsible for independent inspections and purchase decisions.
6. Acceptable use
Do not connect a vehicle without authority, misrepresent a report, interfere with the service, probe protected systems, automate abusive access, or use the service unlawfully. We may restrict access necessary to protect users, the service, or third parties.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how account, vehicle, audit, payment-reference, and report-access information is handled. We record only aggregate qualifying report views and downloads after the complimentary 10-minute QR test window, with first and most recent access times, for refund administration and do not store the viewer identity, IP address, or user agent in that record.
8. Refunds and consumer rights
Our voluntary change-of-mind policy permits a full refund request within 14 days when no qualifying access has been recorded for any report issued through that purchase. A complimentary 10-minute QR test window begins when a report is published; access during that window does not count. Eligibility and the request process are described in the Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including Australian Consumer Law consumer guarantees. EU and other mandatory cancellation or withdrawal rights remain governed by applicable law, including rules for services or digital content supplied immediately with express consent.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EV TrustSeal is not liable for decisions made solely from a report, manufacturer data that is unavailable or inaccurate, or indirect or consequential loss. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms prospectively and will identify the effective version. Material changes do not rewrite the terms accepted for an earlier purchase. Questions, complaints, statutory-rights claims, and refund requests can be submitted through the contact form.
